Vincent Sapthu

Vincent Sapthu

This interview marks our first international interview and it took place in Amsterdam, NL with Vincent Sapthu. Vincent was a welcoming and friendly soul who met me at a really cool spot for beers and conversation. Unfortunately I left one of the (most important) wires for the microphone back in the hotel or in the states. My sincere apologies first to Vincent, but also to the listeners. We were able to record the interview but due to the environment and recording backup equipment decided to scrap the audio of the interview. It isn't fair to Vincent or you. Here is the self-transcribed version of our awesome sit down in Amsterdam where we learned about his process, his story and how he came to be the man behind the design and labels of Walhalla.

Daniel Endicott

Daniel Endicott

When starting a new project you are just hoping that people feel your idea is a good one and in turn validate your concept. From the moment that I reached out to Daniel Endicott to invite him to be a part of this project he has been nothing but a positive force and encouraging. In the early weeks I was just excited for individuals to say yes and would make myself available to speak with them whenever - day or night, but Daniel and I knew that it would be an optimal experience if we met in person and sat down to talk, so we waited and were able to connect at his impressive brewery, Forest & Main and it was obvious that it was the right decision. Daniel is a true artist whose love of beer and art is something special, not to mention I am a little jealous he gets to do two of his favorite things for his job. Enjoy this unique look into one of the truly special individuals in the craft beer space.

Warren Cathro

Warren Cathro

O Canada! Warren is another first for us here at the 16oz. Canvas - our first Canadian artist to join us here. It took a bit of convincing but was really great to get him out of his shell and talking about himself and his work with Liquid Riot and his company Thro' Creative. He is a hard working, honest and very appreciative individual who loves his job, his family and a good beer. Definitely connected and would have loved to done this one in 3-D over a few cold ones. Enjoy

Sarah Shannon

Sarah Shannon

A great episode about hard work, stalking and the love of craft beer as well as (not ) country music. Sarah Shannon and I share the collective We secret and brought that to life in this episode as she is the Owner, Designer and Ruler that is Foggy London Towne. We came to learn of her and her firm through the work that she is doing with Triple Crossing Brewing out of Richmond, VA and loved it. She goes into the 16oz. Canvas lore as the first guest to hang up on me (not once, but thrice), but as discussed I was persistent and through hard work was able to get her to continue with the interview. If you're looking to learn about how to start your own business while juggling the many different roles and hats that go into successfully maintaining a robust client base, this is the one for you.
